THE GULF WAR 1990

Set in 1990, this story is a father and son’s journey to the mountains (tea estates) in search of an address. Abey, the father, has returned home to Kerala during Iraq's invasion of Kuwait. His sudden return leaves him in debt and he is forced to look for another job. However, his wife, son and his ailing mother are relieved at his safe return.

The story begins on the day of Abey's return when he opens his suitcase to gift a toy-car to Isaac, his son. Isaac and his mother notice a box covered in brown paper lying in the suitcase. This box needs to be delivered to someone, so the very next morning the father and son duo head out on their old Rajdoot motorcycle. Their journey takes emotional turns as the two travel through beautiful tea estates and witness different events together. The most pivoting being the one in a small church on a hill where an auction is taking place.
